Ten lesser-played games on PlayKovo: a 3D racer, a stealth mouse, a fishing sim, a js13k space game and more, with controls and device support for each.
Most browser game lists repeat the same handful of titles. PlayKovo's library is bigger than that, and some of its best games have barely been played. Here are ten of them, picked for different moods: racing, stealth, fishing, shooting, platforming and puzzles.
For each game you get what it is, how it controls, why it is worth a few minutes, and which devices it supports according to its game page. Every title opens directly in your browser with no download.
What it is: a hovering-ship racer through a neon futuristic city, built in full 3D WebGL. You dodge walls and rivals while managing shields and boost.
Controls: Left/Right arrows to turn, Up to accelerate, A/D for air brakes. Touch and gamepad are supported.
Why play it: it is a genuinely fast 3D racer that runs in a browser tab, and a handy way to check that your WebGL works.
Devices: desktop and mobile, landscape. Play HexGL
What it is: a calm 3D exploration game on floating pastel islands where you ring wind chimes in order and glide between clouds.
Controls: on desktop, WASD or arrows to move, mouse drag to rotate the camera, Space to jump and double-jump, hold Space mid-air to glide. On mobile, a virtual joystick, touch-drag to look and a JUMP button.
Why play it: no timer, no enemies, just a relaxed puzzle of order and movement.
Devices: desktop and mobile, landscape. Play Sky Isles
What it is: a stealth game where a tiny mouse sneaks through rain-soaked backyards at night, hiding between bushes and mouse holes while a black cat hunts for movement.
Controls: arrow keys or WASD to move; on-screen controls on touch devices.
Why play it: the tension of freezing in place when the cat looks your way is surprisingly effective for such simple controls.
Devices: listed for desktop, landscape. Play Midnight Paws
What it is: a relaxing 3D fishing game. Cast, hook the bite, reel in the fish, sell your catch and upgrade gear to reach new waters.
Controls: on desktop, aim with the mouse, hold Left Click or Space to charge a cast, click to hook a bite and hold to reel. B opens the shop, M the map, J the journal. On mobile, slide to aim, hold to charge and reel, tap to hook, with on-screen buttons for Map, Shop, Journal and Pause.
Why play it: it has a real loop of earning, upgrading and exploring, and it suits long, quiet sessions.
Devices: desktop and mobile, landscape. Play Tideline
What it is: a top-down shooter where a lone hacker-soldier fights through a hacked facility, destroying rogue spider-bots and sentries and rebooting every CPU to unlock the exit.
Controls: WASD or arrows to move, mouse to aim, hold left mouse button to shoot. Click once on the start screen to enable audio.
Why play it: clear goals per level and fast, readable combat.
Devices: desktop, landscape. Play Underrun
What it is: an endless runner where a lone stickman crosses a desert, dodging cacti and tumbleweeds while changing weather affects how you jump.
Controls: Space to jump (double jump in the air), Down or S to duck, Esc or P to pause. On mobile, tap to jump and swipe down to duck.
Why play it: a one-button game with a twist, since the weather changes your jump.
Devices: desktop and mobile, landscape. Play Desert Nomad
What it is: a one-finger sword-fighting platformer in a minimalist bamboo forest. You drag to aim and release to dash through waves of enemies.
Controls: click and drag with the mouse, or touch and drag with one finger, then release to dash and attack.
Why play it: it makes a single gesture feel like a full combat system.
Devices: desktop and mobile, portrait. Play Stolen Sword
What it is: an arena survival shooter in which office-supply enemies are stealing colours from the Crystal Dimension. You fight waves, destroy their portals and level up.
Controls: WASD or arrows to move, mouse to aim; combat is otherwise automatic.
Why play it: the level-up loop is quick and the colourful art style stands out.
Devices: desktop and mobile. Play Dye Hard
What it is: a top-down maze game where you escape three dark mazes, dodge lurking enemies in the shadows and fire arrows to survive.
Controls: WASD to move, Space to dash, mouse to aim and left-click to fire arrows, P to pause, M to mute.
Why play it: limited visibility and a dash move give it an atmospheric, careful pace.
Devices: listed for desktop, landscape. Play Mazeren
What it is: an atmospheric arcade game where you pilot a tiny ship through a pocket universe, harvesting planets and nurturing strange space life. It was built for the js13k competition, where games must fit in 13 kilobytes.
Controls: arrows or WASD to fly, Z or Space for action, M for the map, H for help.
Why play it: it shows how much a very small game can do.
Devices: listed for desktop, landscape. Play Space Garden
