Where the platform stands today
PlayKovo is still an early-stage platform. These notes separate the features operating today from work that is still in progress.
- Live today
- Submission, automated scanning, human review, and hosting are operating now. Developer-uploaded games do not currently show PlayKovo advertising.
- Not live yet
- Advertising and revenue share for developer submissions are still being built. Tracking and earnings will begin only when that system launches.
- Target
- We are working toward activating the system before 2027. This is a target rather than a guaranteed date.
- Rules in force
- Until a dedicated publisher agreement is released, this page and the general Terms of Use govern a submission.
- Mobile app
- The native PlayKovo app is still in development. A browser game can enter mobile distribution only when the developer grants separate permission.
What we publish
- 01
Playable browser build
Send an HTML5 ZIP that we host or a stable HTTPS URL that can be embedded. A ZIP needs index.html at its root or inside one top-level folder.
- 02
Rights and licensing
Submit only a game you own, publish, license, or have written permission to embed. This includes its artwork, music, sound effects, and fonts.
- 03
Accurate store listing
The title, description, thumbnail, cover, and preview must describe the build a player actually opens. Do not use borrowed footage or keyword stuffing.
- 04
Safe behavior
No forced redirects, fake controls, deceptive close buttons, popups outside the game, real-money gambling, adult content, or unsafe financial promotions.
- 05
General-audience fit
Content, advertising, monetization, and external links must be suitable for PlayKovo's broad audience.
- 06
Declared device support
Unless the game is marked desktop-only, it must work on a mid-range phone with touch controls and the orientation selected during submission.
What gets rejected
- index.html is missing or the build works only from a local file path.
- The game opens to a blank screen, throws load errors, or has a broken first level.
- The submission contains assets or code for which you cannot show permission.
- Advertising covers play, opens tabs automatically, or imitates browser or system messages.
- The game includes real-money gambling, adult, hateful, or shock content.
- The store listing presents a different game or substantially misrepresents the build.
- Trackers or network requests send player data to an undeclared service.
How review works
Step 1
Automated checks
We unpack the ZIP, validate its structure and file types, then scan the bundle before it is served.
Step 2
Human play-test
A reviewer opens the game, tests its first session, and compares it with the listing on the declared devices.
Step 3
Decision
You receive an email with the result. A rejection includes a concrete reason and the submission can be corrected and sent again.
The build stays private during review. Automated results support the decision; a human reviewer makes the final publishing call.
After approval
Ownership
The build remains yours. PlayKovo receives permission to host and display it while it is published.
Partner catalog
If you opt in during submission and PlayKovo considers the approved game suitable, PlayKovo may list it in its publisher catalog and let partner websites display it through PlayKovo-provided embeds. You keep ownership and can request removal from future catalog distribution.
Updates
Replacing a hosted build or changing the content served by an external URL can trigger another review.
Removal
We can unpublish a game that breaks these rules, becomes unplayable, or receives a credible rights complaint. You can also ask us to unpublish your own game.
Revenue share
Revenue share is not active for developer submissions yet. Any future system will be covered by separate written terms before it starts.
