Developer information
Your rights as a developer
A plain-language record of what you keep and what you control when you publish a game on PlayKovo.
What you keep
- 01
You keep ownership
You retain full ownership of your game and every asset in it. Submitting to PlayKovo does not transfer copyright, trademark, or any other ownership to us. We receive only the permission needed to host and display the game while it is published.
- 02
Publishing is non-exclusive
You may publish, license, or sell the same game elsewhere, including on competing platforms, before, during, and after it is live on PlayKovo.
- 03
You control visibility
You can ask us to unpublish your game from playkovo.com at any time through your Studio dashboard or by contacting us.
- 04
Rejections include a reason
If a submission is rejected, the review includes a specific reason so you can fix it and resubmit. Resubmitting is free.
- 05
The same review applies to everyone
Every submission goes through the same automated checks and human play-test, regardless of the developer or studio size.
- 06
Mobile distribution needs your opt-in
A browser submission is not placed in a PlayKovo mobile app without separate permission during submission.
What is not live yet
- A dedicated publisher agreement covering payout terms and revenue share is still being finalized.
- Ads and revenue share for developer-submitted games are not active yet. No revenue is owed for periods before a live ad provider is connected to a game.
- Binding legal commitments for the publisher relationship will appear in the finalized agreement rather than on this summary page.
